Staying in either Cruz Bay or Coral Bay, which are the two main towns on the Island, allows easy access to restaurants, bars and shops. There are plenty of hotels, villas and resorts to choose from, which range from the quaint to the extremely lavish. Making reservations early is always advisable as finding somewhere to stay at the last minute is normally impossible.
Luxury resorts tend to be the preferred choice as you will be treated like royalty throughout your stay. Most lead directly on to the beach, offer amazing views, have private pools, and provide full guest services. You literally would not have to leave your resort if you did not want to, and lots of people do not! For those looking for seclusion and tranquility, there are few places in the world that can match it.
